In August, 2020, Emily set the overall FKT on the Oregon PCT, in celebration of her mother Andrea Halnon who passed away in January 2020 from a rare uterine cancer.

Emily ran the 460-mile trail in 7 days, 19 hours, and 23 minutes and raised over $34k for the Brave Like Gabe Foundation and rare cancer research.
